NATO DIANA Program

The Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic connects deep tech innovators with NATO's 32 member nations to solve the alliance's most pressing challenges.

About DIANA

DIANA was established at the 2021 NATO Summit to foster a transatlantic innovation ecosystem for defense and security. The program identifies and accelerates dual-use deep technologies that can strengthen allied capabilities while maintaining democratic values and ethical standards.

DIANA operates across 11 accelerator sites and over 90 test centers throughout NATO nations, providing selected companies with access to defense-relevant testing environments, mentorship, and pathways to procurement. Companies are selected through rigorous challenge programs addressing critical capability gaps identified by NATO military authorities.
